Nancy Gwendolyn Wonderly, 70 of Port Clinton died Monday, May 16, 2005 at St. Charles Mercy Hospital, Oregon. She was born on August 2, 1934 in Gibsonburg to Lennis & Frances (Strasel) Vallance. Nancy graduated from Port Clinton High School in 1952. On January 18, 1954 she married James Pat Wonderly in Angola, IN and he survives her in Port Clinton. Nancy was an insurance broker for Diels Insurance, Helena retiring in 1996. She was a previous member of St. Marys Catholic Church, Millersville, and more recently a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, Oak Harbor where she was a communion distributor and was a member of the Port Clinton Moose & Elks, she was an avid reader, loved her family very much and enjoyed her flowers. Surviving are children; Dean (Lea)Wonderly of Helena, Gwen (Jeff) Jones of Gibsonburg, and Joanie (Dave) Clark of Helena, grandchildren; Mark Jones of Westerville, Ryan Wonderly of Yorktown Heights, NY, Jamie Wonderly & Andy Clark both of Helena. She is also survived by brother; John (Sally) Vallance of Summerfield, FL, sisters; Vella Sue (Larry) Hofacker of Brandon, FL, Willah Christner of Waynesboro, PA, and Carol Baw of Jacksonville, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson; Christopher Jones in 2001 and sister; Jean Vallance and brother; Dennis Vallance. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2005 at the Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Gibsonburg from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 20, 2005 at St. Marys Catholic Church, Millersville, at 10:30 AM with Fr. Ted Miller officiating. Burial will follow at St. Marys Catholic Cemetery, Millersville. Memorial contributions may be made to the School of Hope, Special Olympics or to the donors choice.
