Ethel R. Wyler, of Gibsonburg died Friday evening, march 4, 2005 at Bethesda Care Center, Fremont. She was born April 27, 1913 in Arbuckle, WV. A daughter to Clayton and Harriet (Sayre) McCoy and was a 1931 graduate of Pemberville High School. She worked as a janitor for the Gibsonburg High School and was a member of the Trinity United Methodist church, Gibsonburg. Ethel enjoyed refinishing furniture and redoing antique dolls. Ethel is survived by two daughters, Sheila (Louie) Damschroder, Gibsonburg, and Shelva (Gene) Dielman, Leesburg, FL., ten grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and three step-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents, her first husband Neil Tefft whom she married in 1931, died in 1955 and her second husband Earl Wyler whom she married in 1956, died in 1969; six brothers, Cecil, George, Oran, Earl, Earnest and Clyde McCoy and four sisters, Winnie and Irma Jividen, Hazel Cobb and Virginia McCoy. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 8, 2005 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Gibsonburg. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2005 at 10:30 A.M. at Trinity United Methodist Church, Gibsonburg with Pastor Fritz Merkes officiating. Burial will be in Eisenhour Cemetery, Pemberville. Memorial donations may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, Gibsonburg, OH, or to the donors choice.
