Luella M. Young

Luella M. Young, 81, a lifelong resident of Fremont, died late Sunday evening at Toledo Hospital. She was born in Fremont to the now-deceased John F. and Edith A. (Schultz) Bork. Luella graduated from Ross High School. On Aug. 8, 1940, she married Harold P. Young and he survives. Surviving are children, Deborah L. (Francis "Butch") Sherman and David L. (Cindy J.) Young; grandchildren, Tad and Joel Sherman, LuElyne Contrares, Julie Young Walker and Amy Young Thomas; 10 great-grandchildren; and brother, John F. Bork. She is preceded by her parents and brother, Carl Bork. Visitation was held on Thursday from 6-9 p.m. and 2-9 p.m. on Friday at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Services were held at the funeral home on Saturday at 11 a.m. Burial was at Dana Cemetery, Green Springs Township.
