Shirley Aileen Franklin Sayre, 67, formerly of Fremont, and most recently of Wellford, SC, died on Monday, January 30, 2012 in South Carolina as a result of an auto accident. She was born on June 20, 1944 in Bellevue, OH to George and Dorothy (Wurzel) Franklin. Mrs. Sayre was a member of Morningside Baptist Church and the Fellowship Sunday School Class. She was employed with Weight Watchers; in Fremont, OH she was employed with Infant Items and Famous Supply. Survivors include her loving husband of 33 years, David Ray Sayre; daughter, Pam (Zak) Taylor of Cincinnati, OH; sons, Sam (Maryhelen) Hotz of California, MD and Tony (Jennifer) Hotz of Fremont, OH; step-daughters, Sheryl (Matt) Simko of Wickliffe, OH and Tami (Dewayne) Whitt of Hillsboro, OH; grandchildren, T.J. and Christopher Hotz, Brittany, Trent and Haley Taylor, Grady and Samantha Hotz, Davey and Kendra Kishman; two great-grandchildren, Cloie and Carlie Hotz; and a brother, Tom Franklin of Casa Grande, AZ. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 from 4-6 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont. Services will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
