Brenda K. Davis

Brenda K. Davis, 57, passed away at her rural Fremont home Friday, February 3, 2012. Born on June 4, 1954, she was the daughter of Rudolph and Dorothy (Swartzlander) Koppelman. Brenda graduated from Lakota High School in 1972. She began working as a laborer for the now Eaton Inoac in Fremont. She retired in 2010 after working there for over 26 years. Brenda was an active member in her church, Grace Community Church, in Fremont. She also cheered for the San Diego Chargers football team and was a member of the Fremont Eagles. A true love for her was babysitting her beautiful granddaughter, Emma Marie. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and going shopping. On June 28, 1999, she married Brian Davis in Fremont and he survives. Brenda is also survived by her son Michael (Gina) Brundage of Haskins and their daughter Emma Marie. Brenda's brother Roger (Pat) Koppelman of Green Springs also survives. Brenda is preceded in death by her parents and two infant brothers. Funeral services will be Thursday, Febraury 9, 2012, 10:30 a.m., at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 900 North Street, Fremont where visitation will be Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Rev. Forrest Kirchenbauer will officiate. Burial will be at Smith Cemetery, Burgoon. Contributions in Brenda's memory may be made to S.N.A.P. Ministries c/o the Grace Community Church.
