Fremont resident, Kathryn Moll, 80, died Saturday, February 18, at her home, comforted by her family at her side. Born on April 21, 1931 in Woodville, OH, Kathryn was a daughter of Franklin and Edna (Busdeicker) Linke. She graduated from Solomon Lutheran High School and later obtained her LPN license from the former Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. As a nurse and medical records keeper, she worked at the Countryside Continuing Care Center in Fremont until her retirement in 1991. Kathryn enjoyed golfing, scoring a hole in one, and bowled in leagues. Kathryn married Donald Moll in 1953 at the First United Church of Christ in Fremont. Don survives. Together they were members of the Fremont Moose, Eagles and VFW. Surviving her is her daughter, Karen Balderama of Fremont; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and brothers Roger Linke of Gibsonburg and Carl Linke of Woodville. Kathryn is preceded in death by her parents and infant sons John and Daniel. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 21, 3-5 & 6-8 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Fremont where services will be conducted on Wednesday 10:30 a.m. Rev. Elaine Bast will officiate. Burial at Four Mile House Cemetery will be at a later date. Contributions in her memory may be made to the care of her family, Hospice of Memorial Hospital or to the donor's choice.
