Nora Lee McCraw, 80, of Fremont, died on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at her home. She was born on April 5, 1931 in Morgantown, W VA to Loren and Virgie Royce. She married the love of her life Virgil Lee McCraw on September 19, 1947 and enjoyed 60 years of marriage before his death on June 2, 2008. Virgil and Nora Lee moved to Burgoon, OH in 1952 and Fremont, OH in 1968. Nora Lee worked at Sears, Agway and Purdy Sales until retirement. Nora Lee is survived by daughters, Sharon (Terry) Nigh of Pemberville, OH and Brenda (Mike) Anderson of Ashland, OH; grandchildren: Brad ( Jennifer) Nigh, Poland, OH; David (Staci) Anderson, Miamisburg, OH; Erin (Mark) Johnson, Bellaire, TX and Dana (Corey) Klein, Sagamore Hills, OH; great grandchildren: Kendall, Ryan and Alexandra Nigh, Poland, OH; Leah and Eric Anderson, Miamisburg, OH; Jack Klein, Sagamore Hills, OH; and Reese Johnson, Bellaire, TX; sisters: Eileen Royce, Annabelle (Bud) Cole and Norma (Russell) Rowan all of Baltimore, MD; and brother-in-law, Lewis Unger, Houston, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Roger McCraw in 1984 and a sister, Mary Lou Unger. Nora Lee enjoyed playing cards with friends, antiquing, quilting, knitting, playing with great grandchildren and spending time with her family and friends. She belonged to the Eagles and Moose. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fremont Memorial Hospice, Mobile Meals or to donors' choice. Her family would like to thank her neighbors (especially, Chip and Donna Cominsky), friends, Dr. Edgar and his staff, Mobile Meals and Fremont Memorial Hospice for their kindness and comfort shown to Nora Lee. At Nora Lee's request no visitation will be held at this time and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted with the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont.
