Alicia Cisneros Conway

Alicia (Cisneros) Conway, 68 of Fremont died on Sunday, March 25, 2012 at Elmwood at the Springs. She was born on July 30, 1943 in Houston, TX to Balbino & Elisa (Sanchez) Cisneros. Alicia was a 1963 Gibsonburg High School graduate. She worked at Heinz until her retirement in 2005. She married William R. Conway at St. Michaels Catholic Church on November 6, 1965 and together they had three children. Alicia was a member of St. Cashmeres, Persian Perish of Ft. Knox, KY and the VFW ladies auxiliary. She was committed to the church being a hostess, helper for offerings and a member of the Rosary Club. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo and going shopping, but she loved spending time with family and the grandkids. She will be dearly missed by children, Wayne Conway of Elizabethtown, KY, Maureen McLaughlin and Stephen Conway both of Fremont; 16 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; siblings, Herman Cisneros of Orlando, FL, Helen Gonzales of Lindsey, Lily Hernandez of Fremont, Minerva Walter of San Antonio, TX and Phil Cisneros of Genoa. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Genevieve Obregon. Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 from 4-8 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Gibsonburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday 10:30 a.m. at St. Michaels Catholic Church, Gibsonburg. Burial will be at a later date at St. Lawrence Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Central Catholic Scholarship Fund or to Stein Hospice.
