Patricia Ann Gladieux

Patricia A. Gladieux, 77 of Tiffin passed away Saturday, April 21, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family by her side. She was born on September 11, 1934 in Toledo to Perry & Jane (Schultz) Purdy. Patricia was a homemaker and a farmer, working with her son for many years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Millersville. On November 29, 1952 she married Barney John Gladieux, they later divorced and he survives in Freeport, OH. Patricia was a very loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed crocheting. Surviving are her children; Michael (Linda) Gladieux of Oak Harbor, Henry (Jodi) Gladieux of Burgoon and Mary (Marvin) Rhoads Hillsboro, OH. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren & 15 great-grandchildren, and a brother; Orville Purdy of Fremont. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons; Barney John Jr., and John Gladieux. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at the Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Gibsonburg from 2-4 & 6-9 PM. A Mass of Resurection will be held on Thursday, April 26, 2012 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Millersville at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Ted Miller officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, The American Cancer Society or to Stein Hospice in Patricia's name.
