Alvin Roy Biggs, 82 of Fremont, passed away peacefully Saturday morning April 28, 2012 at the Bethesda Health Care Center. He was born on June 13, 1929 in Coshocton, OH to Alvin Roy & Isabel R (Randles) Biggs. He married Ruth Ann Lewis and she survives. Roy worked for the Ohio department of Natural Resources Division of Wildlife as a Supervisor for Lake Erie Law Enforcement for 30 years. He enjoyed fishing and gardening. Surviving in addition to his wife is daughter, Tracey (Nick) Reed of Fremont; sons, Bruce, Timothy and Michael Biggs all of Fremont; granddaughters, Rachel (Kyle) Stierwalt & Kaitlin Reed; siblings, Jean Lower, Elizabeth Krabil and Marjorie Els. He is preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 1, 2012 from 4-8 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at South Lawn Cemetery in Coshocton, OH. Memorial contributions in Roy's memory may be made to the United Way or to Hayes Memorial United Methodist Church.
