Beatrice Wratchford

Beatrice Fern Wratchford, 92, of Fremont, died on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at Bethesda Care Center. She was born on June 19, 1919 in Scott Township to Clifford and Opal (Mirer) Stahl. Beatrice was a laborer at General Cutlery, retiring in 2000. She enjoyed traveling, fishing, bowling and playing Yahtzee. Beatrice married William Steinbauer on July 11, 1939 and he preceded her in death on April 4, 1981. She later married Homer Wratchford and he also preceded her in death. Surviving are children, Opal (Robert) Bryan of Green Springs, Barbara (Kenneth) Klohn of Fremont, William (Sally) Steinbauer Jr. of Gibsonburg, Cinda (Ray) Hummel of Gibsonburg and Charles (Donna) Steinbauer of Fremont; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; stepchildren, Arthur "Honey" Wratchford of Cumberland, MD, Jack (Jean) Wratchford also of Cumberland, Wanda K Reed, Nellie Allanson, Homer "June" Rosalee all of Petersburg, WV, John Wratchford of Rig, WV and Jean (Elmo) Rohrbach of Maysville, WV; siblings, Annabel Roberts and Wilma Herring; special daughter, Donna "Sis" Woodruff. She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands, siblings, Irene Cox, John Stahl, Fred Stahl and Sarah Ellen Stahl; stepchildren, Virgil "Gib", Chiz and Buddy Wratchford. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 10, 2012 from 4-8 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Gibsonburg where services will be held on Monday at 10:30 a.m. Friends and family will be received a half hour prior to services at the funeral home. Rev. Christine Tobergte will officiate. Burial will follow at Scott Trinity Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice.
