Patricia A. Craun

Patricia A. (Janovich) Craun died July 21, 2012. Burial will be July 24, 2012 at Smith Cemetery, Burgoon. Patricia was born in Detroit, MI on March 5, 1935. She grew up on a farm in Tiffin, OH. She married Arden D. Craun on March 22, 1952 and moved to Texas for the next 4 years while her husband was serving in the Air Force. They returned to Ohio and settled in Burgoon where they lived for fifty-six years. Pat and Arden had 6 children during their 59-year marriage. Pat loved her husband, her children, her many cats over the years, and her dogs, especially "Panda". She enjoyed experimenting with food recipes and growing plants and flowers. Patricia was also an avid Goodwill and garage sale shopper, she was always trying to find new uses for old things. Mourning her passing are children, James Craun, Gaithersburg, MD, Connie Craun, Powell, OH, Chris Halvorson, Boulder, CO, Cheryl Kosmatatos, Cumming, GA, and Cathy Craun, Findlay, OH; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; siblings, Mary Lou Bonham, Cookeville, TN, Betty Depinet, Donna Sexton and Robert Janovich all of Tiffin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arden; parents, John and Vlasta Janovich; daughter, Carolyn Craun; and grandson, Craig Bates. Memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of Wyandot County, 9640 Co. Rd. 330, Upper Sandusky, 43351. Arrangements were entrusted to the Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Gibsonburg.
