June C. Kerschner Hahn, 83, of Fremont passed away at her home on August 24, 2012. She was born on September 14, 1928 at 39 Jackson St., Tiffin to John & Grace (West) Kerschner. June was a 1947 graduate of Tiffin Columbian. She was born again on January 25, 1951 in a city wide revival. On May 17, 1958, she married Kenneth Hahn son of Carl & Alberta Hahn, and Kenneth died on March 14, 1994. June was a member of the Sandusky County Choir which was directed by her husband. She also sang in the choir at the 1st Brethren Church, Fremont and was ordained as a deacon in that church. June taught Sunday School and directed Bible School for many years. Because of her love of the small children she was called "Grandma June" by many. June worked as a Deputy Auditor for 21½ years for the Sandusky County Auditor's Office retiring in 1998. She also worked for the Peter Echrich Plant for six years and was a Physician's Assistant to Ralph E. Hersbberger MD and receptionist to Thomas D. Efstation MD both of Tiffin. She loved dogs and her dog Molly was considered a pampered pooch & queen. Surviving are children, Anita Hahn and Rebecca "Becky" Hahn both of Fremont. She is preceded in death by her husband; infant daughter, Cathleen Hahn and siblings Joan Hogue, Helen Hill and Janet Kerschner. Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at the Church of the Nazarene with a half hour of visitation prior to the service at church. Pastor Dan Vickey will officiate. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Church of the Nazarene or for Gideon Bibles.
