Kenneth DeMar Stull, 74 of Fremont died on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at his home. He was born on December 12, 1937 in Genoa, OH to John W. and Dorothy (Nitschke) Stull. Kenneth was a 1957 graduate of Fremont Ross High School and had served in the U.S. Army from 1957-1959. He was an electrician for Bodie Electric, Waste Management and American Electric Power retiring in 2005. On January 14, 1961 he married Barbara J. Fowler at St. Mark's Lutheran Church and she survives. Kenneth was a member of the Fremont Eagles and Moose. He was a past treasurer of the Eagles Aerie #712 and was named Father of the Year in 2011 by the State Auxiliary. Ken was inducted into the Ohio State Eagles Hall of Fame. He was active at the Eagles Rec. Park in Bellfountain, OH and he often did a lot of charity and benefit work for cancer research. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, bowling, camping and especially golfing. Surviving in addition to his wife are children: Mindy S. Mills of Fremont, Mark A. Stull of Sparks, NV and Jamie L. Gottron of Fremont; grandchildren: Brittney Mills, Cory Gottron, Jordann Stull and Michael Stull; great grandchildren: Bryce and Bronx McKinstry; brother, Donald (Nancy) Stull and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Donna Burr and brother Richard Stull. Per Ken's request, he has donated his body to research. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at the Fremont Eagles. The family wishes to thank Hospice of Memorial Hospital, Dr. Frank Brown, Dr. Patrick White, Denny Woodruff, Ramiro Almaguer, Chet Pullins, Pastor Keith Koppenhofer and all those who prayed for Ken.
