Ronald C. Mosser "Ron" or "Mo" 74, died early Monday, September 24, 2012 at his home. He was born on June 5, 1938 in Fremont Memorial Hospital the son of the now late Carl & Coletta Mosser. Ron graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1956 and attended Bowling Green University. On June 26, 1965, Ronald married Catherine Helen Reineck at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Gibsonburg and she survives. Ronald worked as a machine grinder specialist (formerly Brush Wellman Inc.) now Materian Corporation for 42 years retiring in 2001. Ron was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Fremont where he was a member of the choir, the resurrection choir and a Eucharistic minister. He was an altar boy at St. Joseph Church when he was growing up. Ron was a member of the Sandusky County Senior Citizens and a member of the Golden Threads. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, golfer and reader. Ron was an all outdoors sportsman. He owned and operated a motor home, traveling and camping when the family was growing up. Ron enjoyed growing roses, his favorite flower, playing Bingo and traveling to Casinos. He also enjoyed feeding the birds in his backyard. Ron was a good friend to many and loved by all who knew him. He will always be remembered by his witty sense of humor. Ron had a very strong faith and relied on it to see him through many hard times. Ron celebrated his 55th Class Reunion in 2011. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Catherine Mosser of Fremont, daughter, Anne Catherine (John) Greene of Fremont and many, many nieces, nephews, goddaughters and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, son, Steven R. Mosser in 2002 and an infant sister, Eileen Marie. Visitation will be on Thursday, September 27, 2012 from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont where there will be a vigil service at 8:30 p.m.. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, Sept. 28th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Ann's Catholic Church with Rev. Michael Zacharias officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Central Catholic High School, St. Ann's Church or to Hospice of Memorial Hospital in Ron's memory.
