Gibsonburg resident and business co-owner, Ruth Ann (Ehrman) Randolph, 72 died Sunday morning, December 23, 2012 in the comfort of her home. Ruth Ann was born in Fremont on September 18, 1940 to the now deceased Bernard and Irma (Miller) Ehrman. She graduated from Fremont St. Joseph High School in 1958 and married W. Farnham Randolph, Jr. on May 13, 1961 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. He survives. She and Farnham are current owners and operators of Randolph's TV and Appliance Store in Gibsonburg. Ruth Ann was also a member of the St. Ann's Catholic Community in Fremont, the Lindsey Lions' Club, the Gibsonburg Post of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary, founding member of the Lindsey Fireflashes and the Wednesday Morning Coffee Group. She enjoyed vacationing at the family cabin in Grayling, MI and cooking. She was known to be a champion dandelion digger and earthworm hunter. She loved couponing, shopping and taking advantage of any possible rebate. She was also known to be the head planner and chef at family gatherings. Surviving in addition to her husband are children, Amy (Dave) Randolph Nighswander and William F. (Ruby) Randolph III all of Gibsonburg and Elizabeth Randolph of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren Eric, Kelsey, Patrick, Haley and Aidan; and siblings Ted (Tricia) Ehrman of Northwood, Harold (Liz) Ehrman of Norwalk, Kathy (Nate) Stevenson of Attica and John (Joy) Ehrman of Houston, TX. Friends and family will be received on Thursday, December 27, 2012, 1-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 319 W. Madison St., Gibsonburg where vigil services will begin at 7:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said on Friday, 10:30 a.m., at St. Ann Catholic Community, 1021 W. State St., Fremont where her body will lie in state one hour beforehand. Fr. Michael Zacharias will officiate. Burial will follow at Lindsey Cemetery. Contributions in Ruth Ann's memory may be made to the Lindsey Lions' Club, St. Ann's Community, St. Joseph Central Catholic High School or to Hospice of Memorial Hospital.
