Loretta (Beck Lady) Busby, 79, of Toledo, passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2012. Loretta was born in Lewisburg, Ohio to Kenneth and Juanita (Wiles) Melling. On December 17, 1949 she married James H. Busby in Centerville, IN and he preceded her in death. She was a member of Hayes Memorial United Methodist Church in Fremont, the Eagles and Moose Lodges in Fremont. She worked as a secretary for Beck Suppliers for 25 years, retiring in 2006. Loretta loved playing euchre, crocheting and collecting dolls. Survivors include her daughters; Theresa (David) Holman of Toledo and Cynthia (Robert) Hebenstreit of Franklin, IN; grandchildren Lisa (Nathan) Ayres-Surber, Heather (Michael) Kovaleski, Jason (Jenny) Ayres, Jeremy Hebenstreit and Amber Hebenstreit; great-grandchildren, Midori, Donovan, Kane and Jacob. Loretta was preceded in death by her parents, husband of thirty years and son, James (Jimbo) Busby. Visitation will be held at Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation on Saturday, January 5 from 1-3 p.m. with services at 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Certified Celebrant Maureen Pump will officiate.
