Dick Angelone, 71, formerly of Muskego, WI passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at the home of his son in Gibsonburg, OH. He was born on January 10, 1942 in Gibsonburg to Diego (James) and Rose (Pantaleo) Angelone. Dick was a graduate of Gibsonburg High School and had attained certification in CNC set up. He worked as a furnace operator & machinist for Dana Corp retiring in 1991. In 1961 he married Susan Thomas at St. Ann's Church in Fremont and she survives. Dick enjoyed bowling, golf, reading and cooking. He was a member of the Gibsonburg Athletic Boosters and the Gibsonburg Baseball Association. Dick was a baseball coach for a number of years also. He was a past member of St. Michael's Church in Gibsonburg. Surviving in addition to his wife are children: Deidra Resnick of Patton, PA, Michael Angelone, Woodville, Matthew (Laurie) Angelone of Bartlett, IL and Thomas (Jody) Angelone of Gibsonburg; siblings, Frank Angelone, Victoria Blessing, both of Gibsonburg and Margaret Binder of Fremont; 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Nicholas E. Angelone; great grandson, Nicolas G. Peake; siblings, Joseph Angelone, Carmen Angelone, Nina Price and Grace Schoenfeld; parents in law, Frank Thomas and Clifford and Theresa Van Aman; siblings in law Richard Blessing, De Thompson, Raymond Binder, Margaret Angelone, Richard Schoenfeld and Robert Price; a nephew and a great niece. Friends and family will be welcome at the Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Gibsonburg on Wednesday, April 3, 2013, 2-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said, Thursday, April 4, 10:30, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Gibsonburg where a time of reflection will begin at 9:30 a.m. Rev. Jacob Gordon will officiate. Burial will be at St. Lawrence Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Dick's memory may be made to the Gibsonburg High School Athletic Boosters' Baseball Program.
