Lisa Marie Guerrero, 45, of Columbus, Ohio went to be with The Lord on Thursday, May 9, 2013. Lisa was born in Toledo on December 25, 1967 to Guadalupe and Esperanza (Reyes) Guerrero. Lisa graduated from Oak Harbor High School and then achieved a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from the University of Toledo. She was a summer intern with the Ohio Turnpike while in college. Lisa currently lived in the Columbus area as an editor for Zaner-Bloser of Highlights for Children. She was active in life groups and outreach to the homeless, whom she considered her friends. She helped in the soup kitchen and the youth group at Christian Community Church in Columbus, where she was a member. Lisa was also an OSU Fanatic. Surviving in addition to her parents; brothers, Robert (DiAnn) of Elliston, Michael of Port Clinton; nieces, Mallory & Jenna; nephew, David and great niece Gabi; many loving Guerrero and Reyes family members, friends & neighbors, especially her youth group children. Lisa is preceded in death by her grandparents. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 900 North St., Fremont, from 2-4 p.m. & 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Victory Church in Fremont on Friday at 10:00 a.m. with one hour visitation at the church prior to the service. Rev. Duane Dunfee will officiate. Burial will be held at Elliston Cemetery. A memorial service will be conducted at Christian Community Church in Columbus on Saturday, May 18, 2013, 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lisa's memory may be made to the care of her family for distributing to the many charities Lisa represented.
