Nancy Hill

February 11, 1950 — July 4, 2013

Nancy L. Hill, 63 of Helena, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2013 at Windsor Lane Health Care Center, Gibsonburg. Nancy was born on February 11, 1950 in Fremont to Melvin & Augusta (Holtsberry) Jacops. Nancy graduated from Woodville High School in 1968. On May 3rd, 1969 she married Marshall Hill in Woodville. Nancy was well known in the community as she worked at the former Smitty's Restaurant in Gibsonburg, Gussie's Restaurant in Woodville and most recently at Ideal Bakery in Gibsonburg, retiring May 1, 2013. She was a member of the Helena Community Volunteer Fire Department, Ladies Auxiliary for 35 years and a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church in Helena. She was a diehard Packers Fan, enjoyed camping, crocheting, reading, puzzle books and bowling in leagues in Woodville. She also loved working with sheep, going to fairs, watching her kids and grand kids play sports and spending time with family. Surviving are her mother, Augusta of Florida; husband, Marshall of Helena; children, Bryon (Tammie) Hill of Gibsonburg, Janna (Wade) Seaman of Lima and Cody (Olivia) Hill of Gibsonburg; siblings, Sharyl (Ron) Koller of Homosassa Springs, Florida & Steve (Linda) Seem of Helena; ten grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. Nancy is preceded in death by her father, Melvin; brother James Jacops; and great grand-daughter, Jennah Holbrook. A time for sharing with the family and celebrating Nancy's life will be offered at the Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Gibsonburg on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 from 4-8 p.m. Memorial contributions in Nancy's memory may be made to the care of her family.
