Jack William Druckenmiller, 79 of Fremont passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on Friday, July 19, 2013. Jack was born in Fremont on August 19, 1933, he was the son of Carl & Mabel (Beckman) Druckenmiller. He graduated from Old Fort High School and, he married his high school sweetheart Ruth (Bishop) on January 17, 1954. Jack was a hard working farmer. When he retired he worked for Smiley Tire as a Sales Representative. Jack was a member of the Fremont Moose Lodge and S.C.R.A.P. He spent time restoring Oliver tractors, hunting and fishing. He also loved spending time with his grandkids. Surviving in addition to his wife are children, Peggy (Tony) Karle of Fremont, Karen Druckenmiller of Fremont & Jeff (Ashley) Druckenmiller of Lucas, IA.; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and siblings, Marjorie Guffey, Grace Zoeller and Amos Druckenmiller. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Ronald Druckenmiller; granddaughter Dawn Cantu and sister Corrine Easterwood. Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 from 10:30 a.m.-12 noon at Grace Lutheran Church where a Memorial Service will be held at 12 noon with Pastor Jodi Rice officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Grace Lutheran Church or to Hospice of Memorial Hospital.
