Mark D. Zura, 47, of Fremont, passed away unexpectedly at home on August 6, 2013. Mark was born on January 3, 1966 in Fremont to Daniel J. and Lynne (Disrude) Zura. He was a 1984 graduate of Fremont Ross High School and then graduated from Ohio State University. After being a mortgage broker for many years he recently became self employed and was soon to move to Costa Rica. In 2006, he moved back to Fremont to be closer to his family. Mark enjoyed hiking, the outdoors, traveling and scuba diving. He also enjoyed Ohio State and the Denver Bronco's football and loved spending time with his family and his dog, Rupert. Surviving in addition to his dog, Rupert is his mother; sisters, Allison Zura of Lakewood, Leanne (Carl) Harrison of Stow; nieces, Zoe Zura and Emma Harrison; nephew, Elias Wright; Aunts and Uncles, JoAnn Miller of Sandusky, Richard Zura of Bayview, Sue (Ed) Moxley of Vickery, Steve (Diane) Disrude of Texas and Anne Disrude of Jersey City, NJ and several cousins. He is preceded in death by his father in January of 2007. A Celebration of Mark's life will be held from 1p.m.- 4p.m. on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at Heineman's Winery, Put-in-Bay, Ohio .
