Julie Kay Krotzer, 63 of Bettsville passed away Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Memorial Hospital. She was born on December 13, 1949 in Fremont to Robert & Charolette (Butler) Fry. She attended Gibsonburg High School and in 1985 she received her GED. On December 1, 1967 she married Thomas Krotzer in Wise, VA. She attended Trinity United Methodist Church, Gibsonburg. Julie was a homemaker an avid golfer, enjoyed bunco with her friends, sewing, crafting and spending time with her family. Surviving is her husband, Tom of Bettsville, sons; Brian (Regina) Krotzer and Michael "Slim" (Heather) Krotzer both of Gibsonburg, along with five grandchildren; Nathan, Kristopher, Noah, Natalie and Camren. She is also survived by her brothers; Jon (Arlene) Fry of Waterville, and Jack (Marty) Fry of Columbus. Julie's mother-in-law; Alvina Krotzer of Gibsonburg also survives. She was preceded in death by her parents and father-in-law; Wayne Krotzer, Jr. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at the Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Gibsonburg from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at the funeral home at 11 AM with Pastor Max Ulderich officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Gibsonburg Volunteer Fire Dept or to the Bettsville EMS.
