Lois Rearick

Lois Ann Rearick, 82 of Gibsonburg, passed away at the home of her daughter in Fremont, surrounded by family on Friday, October 11, 2013. Lois was born in rural Elmore on February 6, 1931 to Henry and Edith (Hacker) Fahle. She was a 1949 graduate of Ross High School. On June 27, 1959 she married Clair C. Rearick at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Hessville. He died November 19, 2009. Lois was a seamstress at Saddleman, Inc in Fremont until she retired in 1996. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School. She was also a member of Zion Women and Unit 17 American Legion Auxiliary in Gibsonburg. Surviving are children; Edward (Dawn) Rearick of Montpelier, VT, and Lisa Clements of Fremont; grandchildren, Robert, Linda, Alana, Matthew, Courtney, Christopher, Jessica and Joseph; great-grandchildren, Brittani, Landen, Kayla, Journey Dale and Joseph; and sister, Phyllis Kerns of Fremont. Lois is preceded in death by her husband and siblings, Mark and Donald Fahle, LaVerne Fahle and Ruth Watt Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 from 5-8 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Gibsonburg. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at Zion Lutheran Church beginning at 10:30 a.m. with an additional hour of visitation at the church prior to the funeral. Burial will follow at West Union Cemetery. Rev. Dennis Wansitler will officiate. Memorial contributions in Lois's memory may be made to Zion Lutheran Church in Gibsonburg.
