Robert Bowser formerly of Gibsonburg passed away Sunday November 17,2013 at his home in Scottsdale, AZ He was born in Fremont on June 29, 1935 to Theodore and Helen Maylam Bowser. He was a graduate of Gibsonburg, Ohio and married the former Marilyn Reino Bowser on November 20, 1954. Robert was an avid hunter and fisherman; he also enjoyed snowmobiling and traveling. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus #2280 council. He was a member of St. Bernard of Clairvaux in Scottsdale. He is survived by his wife Marilyn, sons Michael (Sue) Murrells Inlet, SC, Mark of Phoenix, AZ, and William (Susanna) of Park City, UT. Grandchildren Brian Bowser of Columbus, Scott and Andy Bowser of Murrells Inlet, SC, Kristen Park of Salt Lake City, UT, Eric Wynn of Denver, CO, Hayley Gardner of San Jose, CA, Kathren Jensen of Dallas, TX. Five Great-Grandsons, Trey and Tyler Bowser, Henry and Silas Park, and Griffin Jensen. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 daughters Mary, Charlotte and Julie and brother Curtis. A memorial mass will be held at St. Michael's in Gibsonburg on Friday at 10:30am. Rev. Ted Miller will officiate. Burial will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery followed by a reception and luncheon in St. Michael's parish hall. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Gibsonburg.
