Former Bettsville resident, Heather Lynn Brion, 36, died in Virginia on November, 23, 2013. Heather was born on May 20, 1977, the only child of Terrence and Mary (Baker) Brion. As a student of Bettsville High School, Heather was Class President and Historian, graduating in 1995. She attended Heidelberg College moved on to work as an IT Support Specialist for Intermarkets of Reston, Virginia. As and organ donor, her gift of giving to four other families on Thanksgiving Day, is the Light of Hope comforting her family with coping with her unexpected and tragic death. Surviving are her parents; her partner of six years Chistopher Dewland of Fairfax, VA; their pet children Max, Adrian, Chole and Sophie; aunts Jane (Leonard) Longo of Tiffin, Judy (Eddie) Bauer of Gibsonburg, Sybil (James) Santella of Allentown, PA; and uncle, Walter (Barb) Baker of Oregon, OH. Heather is preceded in death by her grandparents Edwin Norton and Anna Mae (Riser) Brion and Fred and Mildred Baker; aunt Marlene Kline; uncles John and Robert Baker and Kermit Brion; and godparents Clarence and Naomi Teal. A Time of Remembrance and Fellowship will be offered at the Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Gibsonburg on Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013, noon-4 p.m. Burial will be private.
