Wilma Lou (Stahl) Herring, 83, of Gibsonburg, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Risingsun to Clifford and Opal (Mirer) Stahl on December 27, 1930. She married William T. Herring on July 12th 1954 in Norfolk, VA and he preceded her in death. Surviving Wilma are her loving children, five daughters and one son; Sandra (Stephen) DuVall, Melba Miller, Rosa (Joel) Reyna, Dotsie (Michael) Foreman and Terri (Miguel) Reyes, and son, William A. (Cindy) Herring. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 3 great- great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Her 2 brothers and 4 sisters preceded her in death. She was a very hard worker who enjoyed traveling, reading, wii bowling, puzzles, making quilts and playing pokeeno with her many friends at Luther Meadows, but her biggest joy was spending quality time with her many grand children. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Gibsonburg where funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 25th at 10:30 a.m., with an additional hour of visitation prior to the services at the funeral home beginning at 9:30. Pastor Glen Herman and Rev. Judie Frank will officiate. Burial will follow at Scott Trinity Cemetery, Kansas. Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the family.
