Dorothy Lindsay, 88, of Fremont passed away at her home on Wednesday, February 12, 2014. She was born in Fremont on May 17, 1925 to George and Clara (Bumb) Hoffman. In 1943 she graduated from St. Joseph High School and married Harold C. Lindsay on July 26, 1948. Dorothy was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and enjoyed volunteering at church. She worked at Consolite Corporation and other various businesses but spent most of her time at home, raising her family. She is survived by children; Patricia A. Kennelly of Brookville, FL, Karen S. (Gary) Spaide of Fremont, Vicki J. (Alan) Bennett of Fremont, Randi L. (Larry) Blechinger of Brimingham, AL, Robert J. (Julie) Lindsay of Fremont and Gregory L. (Michelle) Lindsay of Fremont; twelve grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband; son, Thomas J. Lindsay; son-in-law, Jack Kennelly; siblings, Alton Hoffman, Paul Hoffman, Marvin Hoffman & Rita Levay, and two grandchildren. The family has decided to have services held privately. Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont.
