Gibsonburg resident, Gloria J. Angelone, 78, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. Born on February 7, 1936 in Fremont, she was the daughter of the now deceased Ellsworth and Verena (Althausen) Schoenfeld. Gloria attended Fremont Ross High School and later obtained her GED. Gloria was a homemaker but was well known for working in the deli department at Kirwen's Supermarket until her retirement. On February 13, 1954, she married Frank Angelone at the St. Michael's Catholic Church in Gibsonburg. They just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. Gloria was a member of St. Michael's and enjoyed bowling, golfing and playing the lottery. She will mostly be remembered for her cooking and baking for family. Gloria is survived by her husband, Frank; children Mark (Donna) of Toledo, Kim (John) Miller and James (Jody) all of Gibsonburg; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; cousins Mary Lou Reiter and Janet Albright; and nephew Kenny Schoenfeld. She is preceded in death by her brothers Richard "Dick" and Ronald "Ronnie" Schoenfeld. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said on Saturday, March 22, 2014, 11:00 a.m, at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Gibsonburg where an hour of quiet reflection will be offered prior to mass. Rev. Jacob Gordon will officiate. Family and friends will be welcomed at the Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Gibsonburg on Friday, March 21, 2-9 p.m. Burial will be at a later date.
