Mildred Mae "Millie" Titsworth, 94, of Fremont passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at her daughter's house surrounded by her family. Millie was born on September 6, 1919 to Jesse and Betty (Pipkin) Carter in Lafayette, Tennessee. Millie enjoyed traveling; especially with her best friend Thelma Kuyken. She also loved to play bingo and go shopping, where she always found jewelry to add to her collection. She worked as a physical therapist for Fremont Memorial Hospital and as a mail carrier for the U.S. Post Office. Mildred was a lifetime member of the VFW, Fremont. She married William Titsworth and he preceded her in death. She is survived by children, James Eden of Woodbridge, VA, Michelle Burdette (Don Martin) of Green Springs, and Michael Eden of Fremont; grandchildren, Jeffrey Eden, Lee Eden, Jesse Burdette and Stacey Eden; and a great-granddaughter, Lindsay Below. In addition to her husband, Millie is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter-in-law, and a son-in-law. Visitation will be held at Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont on Monday, June 30, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with a memorial service starting at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Memorial Hospital in Millie's memory.
