Jeffrey Scott Zucker, 56, of Fremont passed unexpectedly away on Sunday, June 29, 2014 at his home. Jeff was born on August 6, 1957 to Harold and Ruth (Snow) Zucker in Fremont. Jeff graduated from Fremont Ross High School in 1976 before going on to study at Terra Community College for his HVAC Certificates. He has worked at Nickel's Bakery, St. Francis Health Care in Green Springs, and Terra Community College before owning his own business; Jeff Zucker Service. Jeff loved cooking shows, his dog Zig, and his cats Spike and Bey. He was a member of the Browns Backers and was a fanatic of all Cleveland sports. Jeff married Mary Henderson on February 7, 1976, who he later divorced. She survives him. Jeff is also survived by his fiancée, Eileen Martin; children, Jennifer (Andrew) Hershey and Julia Zucker of Fremont; step-children; Jacqueline and James Martin; grandchildren; Emma, Grant, and Sam Hershey; step-grandchildren; Jordan and Jaron Burns; and sister, Karen Guernsey of Whitehouse, OH. Jeff is also survived by two special nephews; David Guernsey and Douglas Baker along with several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister; Sharon D Otermat. Visitation will be held at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont on Thursday, July 3, 2014 from 11-1PM with funeral services beginning at 1:00 PM with Rev. William McConnell officiating. Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family.
