Mary Jean (Taylor) Boucher, 88, formerly of Fremont, died on Monday, September 15, 2014 at Birchaven Heights in Findlay, OH. She was born on May 18, 1926 in Tiffin, OH to William and Margaret B. (Dell) Taylor. Mary Jean was a 1944 graduate of Tiffin Calvert High School. On September 20, 1946 she married Marvin E. Boucher at St Mary Jean's Catholic Church in Tiffin. Marv passed away on December 29, 2011. Mary Jean was the epitome of a devoted wife, mom, homemaker, and took great pleasure in spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also appreciated the time shared with the supportive staff at Birchaven. Mary Jean was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Fremont; loved vacationing at Marble Lake, MI with her family; and enjoyed dancing and traveling with her husband. Mary Jean is survived by children, Ronald L. (Cecilia) Boucher of Fremont and Deborah (John) Frederick of Findlay; grandchildren, Ryan (Josie) Boucher, Katie (Brian) Whitta, and Jamie (Brian) Frederick Lunardi; great-grandchildren, Alayna, Allison, Elizabeth, Annie and Alex; and sister, Rose I. Peters of Portland, OR. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marvin; son, Daniel; and siblings, John, Charles and James Taylor and Dorothy J. Tiell. Visitation will be held at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services on Thursday, September 18, 2014 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Services will be at the funeral home on Friday, September 19, 2014 at 10 a.m. with Certified Celebrant Maureen Pump officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Fremont. Donations may be made to the Birchard Public Library (423 Croghan St, Fremont, OH 43420) or to any local Hospice organization in Mary Jean's memory.
