Deborah J. Hill, 59, of Lindsey passed away September 16, 2014 at Windsor Lane Health Care Center in Gibsonburg. Debbie was born in Fremont on May 9, 1955 to James and Lois Jean (McCollum) Honaker. In 1974 she graduated from Woodmore High School. She was a Medical Assistant for Endocrine & Diabetes Center of NWO, retiring in 2012. Debbie loved to camp, enjoyed crocheting, was a Nascar fan and was a member of Fremont Alliance Church. She is survived by her mother, Lois Jean of Lindsey; husband, Gherold; children, Jeremy (Nikki McDonald) Hill of Northwood, James (Kimberly) Hill of Gibsonburg, and Natasha (Joe) Edwards of Lindsey; step children Gherold "Tom" (Michelle) Hill, Jeff (Becky) Hill and Mark Hill all of Columbus; many grandchildren and a great grandson; and siblings, Elizabeth (Joe Alcala) Halm of Clyde and Lori (Frank) Rakay of Lindsey; and several beloved nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father James; her first husband, David Hill; step son, Brian Eldridge; and grandson, Tyler. Memorial services will be held at the Fremont Alliance Church on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014, 4:30 p.m. with Rev. Glenn Merrill and Rev. Paul Miller officiating. Burial at Washington Chapel Cemetery, Helena will be at a later date. Donations may be directed to the American Diabetes Association or to research for a cure of ALS.
