Donald Ray Moll, 84, of Fremont passed away at his home on the evening of Sunday, November 9, 2014. Born on April 21, 1930 in Hessville, OH, he was the son of Harold and Marie (Widdersheim) Moll Sr. For four years Donald was a Staff Sergeant in the US Air Force, serving 3 of those years in Germany, following WWII. After being discharged, he worked as a tool & die precision worker at Union Carbide for 48 years. Donald was a member of the following Fremont organizations: Moose, American Legion, Eagles and VFW. He enjoyed playing softball, golfing, hunting, fishing, bowling, and enjoyed helping others. In 1953, he married Kathryn Matilda Linke, and she preceded him in death on February 18, 2012. Surviving Donald is daughter, Karen Moll Balderama of Fremont; grandchildren, Kristie L. Baez, Jack Carl Williams II, and Ashley Sue Williams; great-grandchildren, Alannah R. Charles, Adrian S. Williams, Aryauna N. Williams, Aarian S. Williams, Amira R. Williams, Sir Aundre J. Williams, and Jack Carl Williams III; sister, Lois Horn of Port Clinton; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by his infant sons, John and Daniel. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2014 from 1-3 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont. Funeral service will begin at 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor James R. Belcher will officiate. Burial with Military Rites will follow at Four Mile House Cemetery. A luncheon will follow the burial at the VFW. Memorials may be made to the VFW.
