Helen M. Kirsch, 89, of Gibsonburg passed away on Thursday, Dec. 4, 2014 at Valley View Health Care Center in Fremont. Helen was born in Gibsonburg on March 23, 1925 to Healon and Margaret (Cavanaugh) Fairbanks. She graduated from Gibsonburg High School in 1943. On May 31, 1947 she married Henry F. Kirsch at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Gibsonburg. Henry passed on Nov. 3, 2000. Helen worked as a sales clerk for Randolph's TV & Appliance (formerly B & W Electric), retiring in 1992. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Gibsonburg and a lifetime member of St. Michael's Altar Society. Surviving are children, Linda (Dennis) Neeb of Columbus, Richard (Annette) Kirsch of Toledo, Mary Jane (Tom) Riedmaier of Gibsonburg, John (Marta) Kirsch of Fremont; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and brother, Francis (Betty) Fairbanks of Gibsonburg. She is preceded in death by husband, Henry; and siblings Regina Arcana, Mary Von Eitzen and James Fairbanks. A Time of Silent Reflection will be offered on Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2014 beginning at 10:00 a.m.at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Gibsonburg where a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at St. Lawrence Cemetery.
