Fremont resident, Jerry Druyor, 72, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 16, 2014 at his home. He was born on April 16, 1942 to Ward A. and Ester (Caris) Druyor in Port Clinton, OH. Jerry graduated from Port Clinton High School before serving in the National Guard. He ran his own remodeling and handy-man business for many years. Jerry was a member of the Fremont Eagles and VFW. He enjoyed fishing and hunting in his spare time. Jerry is preceded in death by his companion of many years, Maxine Colvin; Surviving in addition to his mother are his extended family, Maxine's children; Bob Colvin of Fremont; her granddaughters, Mandi Colvin (Scott) Lyons and Yvonne (Dean) Anderson; her daughter, Shari (Mike) Beier of Perrysburg; her grandsons, Michael (Karen) Beier, Matthew (Gayle) Beier, and Jason (Heather) Beier; and her granddaughter, Lisa (Marty) Mesler. He is preceded in death by his father. A Graveside Committal Service will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2015, 11 a.m. at Oakwood Cemetery.
