Gibsonburg resident, Guadalupe V. Reyna, 73, died February 4, 2015 at Bethesda Care Center in Fremont. Born on October 17, 1941 in Lansing, MI, she was the daughter of Ricardo Sr. and Raquel (Barrientos) Villarreal. Guadalupe attended Gibsonburg High School and was a homemaker. She loved cooking, sewing, crocheting and shopping. She especially loved spending time with her family and studying the Bible with her sisters. She married Raul Reyna Sr. in 1958 in Indiana. Together, they had 4 children, Delia Ybarra (Bill Roelle), Raul Reyna Jr. (Beverly Murray), Diana (Santiago) Valencia, and David (Elizabeth) Reyna all of Gibsonburg. She is also survived by siblings, Juliana (Rudd) Schibley of Sandusky, Ezekiel (Irma) Villarreal of Fremont, Manuela (George) Flores of Helena, Irma (Joel) Gernert of Bloomville, Ruben (Mary) Villarreal of Fremont, Rojelio (Debbie) Villarreal of Toledo and Elizabeth (Joe) Molina of Gibsonburg; ex son-in-law considered a son, Salomon Ybarra of Mission, TX; 9 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Hugo Villarreal, Ninfa Gonzales, Ricardo Villarreal Jr., Berta Wolfinger, and Benjamin Villarreal. Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 from 4-6 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Gibsonburg where a memorial service will begin at 6 p.m. Deacon Rene Gonzalez will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethesda Care Center.
