Fremont resident, June M. (Aldrich) Fahle, 86, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at Elmwood Extended Care in Fremont. She was born on June 9, 1928 to Walter B. and Lucille (Schuster) Rader in Harris Township. Ottawa County, Ohio. She was first and foremost a gentle soul who gave of herself to give her children a good life. She had a sweet and infectious smile that made everyone around her smile. She was retired from Crescent Manufacturing. She was married to George J. Aldrich, they later separated. In October 1982, she married Donald H. Fahle. They traveled to Hawaii, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand as well as many trips stateside. She was a well-known bowler in Fremont carrying a 189 average. She won league team competitions as well as going to district competitions. She and Don also bowled on mixed couples leagues. She is survived by her daughter, Evelyn (Steve) Flahiff; sons, Samuel, Melvin, and Steven Aldrich; 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her step-children, Dennis (Debra) Fahle, Richard (Paula) Fahle, and Carol (Scott) Heilman and their families; and brother Milton Rader of CA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; daughter-in-law, Diane Aldrich; step-son, David Fahle; and brother, Donald Rader. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2015 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont. Funeral Services will be Friday, February 20, 2015, 10:30 a.m., at the Faith Lutheran Church, Fremont where there will be an additional hour of visitation prior to the service. Rev. Bob Young will be officiating. Burial will follow at Faith Lutheran Cemetery, Fremont. Memorial contributions may be made Hospice of ProMedica Memorial Hospital or Faith Lutheran Church, Fremont.
