Agnes Willis, 91, of Fremont, passed away at her home on Sunday, March 8, 2015. She was born on October 27, 1923 in Riley Township to Frank and Amelia (Ohms) Shiets. Agnes graduated from Fremont Ross High School in 1941. On February 9, 1946, she married Russell Willis, and he passed away on June 11, 1991. Agnes and her husband founded Willis & Sons Excavating, where she did the bookkeeping. She previously worked for the JJ Newberry Co., where she baked pies and managed lunch counter, Heinz, Woolworths, and Carbon Works. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Fremont, being involved in their Kitchen Guild, Luther Lunch Bunch, and Rachel Circle. She was also a member of the Sandusky Township Fire Department Women's Auxiliary and the Board of Elections. Agnes loved the Cleveland Indians. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing cards and dominoes. Agnes is survived by children, Lawrence (Jeanette) Willis of North Ridgeville, Philip (Linda) Willis, James (Nancy) Willis, and Connie (Mike) Barnes all of Fremont; 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Iva Baker; and longtime companion, Richard Keiser Sr. She is preceded in death by her parents
