Fremont resident, Helen M. Dagg, 84, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Parkview Care Center, Fremont. Born on March 29, 1931 in Gibsonburg, she was the daughter of William and Adelia Anna (Minning) Kilgus. Helen graduated from Gibsonburg High School in 1949. She worked at Eaton Inoac as an inspector for many years, and retired from Walmart in 2009, where she was a well known door greeter. Helen married Charles Dagg in Battle Creek, MI. They were together for 32 wonderful years prior to his passing in 1986. Helen is survived by children, Stephen (Karen) of Walbridge, Connie (Gary Hitchings) McCloy, Carol Lake, and Charles (Connie) Dagg all of Fremont; grandchildren, Michelle Parker, Stephen Dagg, Katelyn and Elizabeth McCloy, Lauren Castro, Jacob and Julia Dagg, Luke Lyle, and Mike Eishen; 5 great-grandchildren; and sister, Shirley (Paul) Tornow. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles; siblings, Ray, Ruth, Florence, and Lucille. Family and friends will be welcomed at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral Services will be on Thursday, April 16, 2015, 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery, Fremont at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Alzheimer's Association or to the American Cancer Society.
