A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2015, 10 am at Metzgar Cemetery, rural Helena for interment of the ashes of Bernard Jack Tucker and Irene Rachel Tucker. Jack was the son of Forrest Beryl and Mary Tucker of Toledo. He passed away on April 8, 1985 at the age of 67. Irene, daughter of Floyd and Edna Klotz of Helena, passed away on March 18, 2015 at the age of 96. Born and raised in Ohio, Jack and Irene both graduated from Gibsonburg High School in 1938. Jack was the class president and Irene was the class secretary for all 4 years. They were married at Shiloh United Methodist Church in Helena, where they later built a home. Jack worked as a pipefitter for UA Local 50, Toledo. Irene was an employee for Associated Buyers in Fremont. They moved to Glendale, AZ in 1959, where Jack found work as a pipefitter for UA Local Union 469. Irene was a homemaker, staying home with their two sons. They were both active with the Tumbleweeds Camping Club. Jack and Irene are survived by sons, Floyd B. Tucker and Bernard J. Tucker, both of AZ; 7 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. Irene is also survived by sisters, Hilda Schmidt of Perrysburg and Gladys Paulsen of Arroyo Grande, CA. The family requests no flowers or donations. Local arrangements were coordinated with our Gibsonburg facility.
