Edna M. McClure, 88, of Fremont passed away surrounded by several loved ones on June 14, 2015 at Riverview Health Care Campus, Oak Harbor. She was born on July 5, 1926 in Port Clinton to the late Theadore and Luetta (Voelzke) Weichman. Edna worked as a licensed forklift operator for Sterling Innoac. She was a past member of the Fremont Eagles and Moose. Edna worked diligently on quilts for each and every member of her family and was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church Quilt Club. She was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Edna took every opportunity she had to travel. She enjoyed working diligently in her garden and also spent time volunteering for the Sandusky County Park District and at Back to the Wild, Castalia. She will be missed by her friends and children; William (Teresa) McClure, Dennis (Sandra) McClure and James (Kelly) McClure all of Fremont; 7 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; siblings, Eurdine Boysen and Virgil Weichman both of Fremont. She is preceded in death by her infant grandson, Theadore James; and brother, Eldon. Family and friends will be welcomed to the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, June 18, 2015. Services will be held on Friday, June 19 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Kingsway 10 a.m. with visitation being held at the church starting at 9 a.m. Pastor Joe Lees will officiate. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Kingsway. Memorial donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Back to the Wild or to Stein Hospice.
