Jackie (Turpin) Howey, 58, of Fremont, died on July 19, 2015 at her residence. She was born in Fremont on July 12, 1957 to Jack and Evelyn (Terry) Turpin. Jackie was a 1975 graduate of Bettsville High School and received a certificate as a dental technician. She worked at Revere in Clyde, Saddleman's in Fremont, and most recently was a caregiver for STEPS. She enjoyed landscaping, gardening, collecting antiques and going to garage sales. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family drinking a beer. She was a member of Church of God. She is survived by children, Jessica (Mickey Hardy) Bocanegra and David Turpin of Fremont; siblings, James (Krista Matthews) Turpin of Ponchatoula, LA, Darlene (Paul) Feathers of Fremont; Lynn (Mark) Bender of Burgoon; Steve (Michelle) Turpin of Bettsville; Ron (Sue) Turpin of Fostoria; and Lorri (Kevin) Speer of Sandusky; grandchildren, Celeste Hardy, Zachary Turpin, Dillon, Dominic, and Madison Turpin, and Meriah Prenzlin; great-granddaughter, Alli Prenzlin; ex-husband, Dana Howey; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Jack Randall Turpin, Eric Shane Turpin, Tracey Lee Turpin, and Sharron Diane Claar. Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2015, 11a.m. at Seneca Memory Gardens, Tiffin. Roger Turpin will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice.
