Vincent H. Wasserman, 73, of Helena, passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Valley View Healthcare Center, Fremont. He was born on October 4, 1942 in Fremont to Roman & Margaret (Tiell) Wasserman. In 1960, Vincent graduated from Jackson-Burgoon High School, and from 1964-1970 he served in the National Guard. Vincent owned and operated his own business as a contractor for many years until his retirement in 2000. This year, he and Patricia (Rogier) Wasserman celebrated their 50th anniversary. They were joined in marriage on October 16, 1965. Vincent was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed working with his hands through carpentry, gardening, farming, and hunting. He was a member of the NRA and also enjoyed playing cards. Surviving Vincent is his wife, Patricia; children, Steven (Gabriela) of Bettsville, Scott (Michele) of Helena, Shawn (Eva) of Kansas, and Lisa (Craig) Gillmor of Tiffin; grandchildren,Olivia (Josh) Dennis, Samantha Kramer, Grace Wasserman, Spencer Wasserman, Griffin Gillmor and Madalynn Gillmor; and siblings, Helen Nieset, Alice Reineck, Rose Boes, Rita Nieset, Carolyn Breidenbach, Marilyn Dantuono, Tom Wasserman, Dennis Wasserman, and Stanley Wasserman. Family and friends will be welcomed to the Herman-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Gibsonburg on Tues., Nov. 10th from 2-4 p.m. And 6-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wed., Nov. 11th at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Millersville beginning at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Millersville. Memorial contributions may be made to Seneca County School of Opportunity or to Valley View Activities Department.
