Lorenza P. Castillo

Lorenza Palomo Castillo, 90, of Fremont passed away at her home on Monday, November 9, 2015. She was born on September 5, 1925 in Dolores, TX to Manuel and Victoria (Obregon) Palomo. Lorenza grew up in Texas; where she married her husband, Juan A. Castillo, on February 14, 1945. Together they moved to Ohio, raised their 4 children and shared 55 years of marriage until Juan's passing on November 29, 2000. Lorenza worked for many years for the Fremont City Schools as a custodial matron. She was a member of Sacred Heart, the Guadalupe Society and the Spanish Prayer Group. Surviving are her children, Virginia Scazzero of Lanham, MD, Gilbert Castillo of Bellevue, David Castillo of Port Clinton. Lorenza is preceded in death by her husband and daughter, Maria Louisa. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 16, 2015 to the Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont from 10 a.m. till 12 noon. Funeral services will begin at Noon Rev. John Blazer will officiate. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer Association www.ALZ.com
