Vincent T. Hetrick

Vincent T. Hetrick, 93, of Fremont, entered into eternal rest on Fri., Nov. 13, 2015 at Valley View Care Center, Fremont. Born on May 27, 1922 in Oak Harbor, he was a son of Abner and Ida (Gahn) Hetrick. A lifelong farmer, he also worked for Rice Township, retiring in 1984. Vincent married Matilda Mae "Tillie" Sours on June 29, 1944. Together, they raised three daughters. Vincent is survived by daughters, Cheryl (Jerry) Osborne of Omaha, NE and Judy Longoria of Fremont; grandchildren, Quinn (Jennifer) of Omaha, NE, Jodi Lieske (Jeremy Harrison) of Parker, CO, Michael (Debbie) Lieske of Westfield, IN, Aaron (Ashlee) Osborne of Kansas City, MO, and Emily Longoria of Fremont; and nine great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Tillie; their daughter, Connie Sue Lieske; and siblings, Mildred, Dorothy, Carroll, Evelyn, Thelma and Milton. Visitation will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, Fremont on Wed., Nov. 18, from 9:30-11 AM, with Funeral Services starting at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Jody Rice will be officiating. There will be a private family interment following the service. Memorials may be made to the Ida & Abner Hetrick Family Scholarship Fund c/o the family.
