Carlton “Red” Collier, 94, of Fremont, died on Tuesday, March29, 2016 at the ProMedica Toledo Hospital. He was born on September 18, 1921 in Fremont to Vorys & Erma (Sieger) Collier. Red was a 1939 Fremont Ross High School graduate.
In 1942, Red served in the United States Air Force. He spent his service in the Pacific during WWII being honorably discharged in 1946. After the service, Carlton returned home and began working as a rubber chemist.
Red married Fay Rahm; she preceded him in death in 1978. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Joan Siler.
Burial will be held at Green Springs Cemetery at a later date.
