Sheryl Gail Elkins

Sheryl Gail Elkins, 57, of Fremont, passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Bethesda Care Center, Fremont. She was born on February 1, 1959 in North Carolina to Francis & Virginia (Wheeler) Ptacek.

Sheryl married Elmer Ernest Elkins on July 24, 2010 in Fremont; he passed away on November 8, 2015.

Sheryl is survived by children, Leighann (Mark) Good and Jason Ohms; step-children, Allen (Wendy) Boltz, Lisa Goosetree, and Elmer Copp; 7 grandchildren, Mercedes, Jasonah, Isabel, Mark, Annie, Amelia, and Arionah; 5 step-grandchildren; and siblings, Diana (Gordon) Baker, Sandra (Dean) Neff, Dawn (Bobby) Graham, and Shawn Stewart.

She is also preceded in death by her parents; 1 infant sister; and a brother.

Memorial Services will be at 12 p.m. on Monday, May 2, 2016 at the Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont; where visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Bishop Mark Conley will officiate.
