Alice Marie Palomo

Alice Marie Palomo, 56, passed away on Sat., May 7, 2016, at ProMedica Memorial Hospital, Fremont. She was born on July 31, 1959 in Fremont to Santiago and Juana (Alva) Palomo.

Alice graduated Fremont Ross High School in 1977. Alice was a very skilled hard worker, having multiple jobs. Alice attended  Victory Church, Fremont.

She will be remembered as always being open-hearted and being a strong woman, who never said "no" to anyone.  Alice never knew a stranger, and loved her family whole heartedly and friends very deeply.

Alice is survived by children, Jesus Santiago Navarro and Juan Carlos Palomo, both of Fremont, Nicholas James Palomo of Toledo, Christopher James (Melissa) Palomo of Walbridge, and Rica Marie Palomo of Fremont; godchild, Luchana Jones of Toledo; 15 grandchildren; siblings, Georgia (Bob) Wilson of Blue Island, IL, Zeeb (Marie) Palomo of Fremont, Abdon (Lynn) Palomo of Fremont, James (Hilda) Palomo of Fremont, Jane Palomo of Blue Island, IL, and Mike (Yvette) Palomo, of Fremont; sister-in-law, Rosa Palomo of Schererville, IN; and brother-in-law, Juan Martinez, of Homewood, IL.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Telefano Palomo and Pete Palomo; and sister, Marie Sue Palomo-Martinez.

A Celebration Gathering will be held on Sun., May 29, 2016 at 750 South Front Street, Fremont, OH 43420, beginning at 3 P.M.

Memorial Donations made be made to United Way of Sandusky County,  Cancer Care Fund.
