Joyce Ann (Barber) Fish was born on January 15, 1930 in Fremont to Harry and Ruby (Chase) Barber. She lived in Hessville from 1933 until settling in Gibsonburg in 1998. Nanny had worked for Stokely's and Boyer's Restaurant, Lindsey until retiring from H.J. Heinz Company after 17 years of employment. She enjoyed gardening, walking, and most of all spending time with her family.
Surviving are her children, Robert Fish, Sandy Fish, and Patricia Fish all of Gibsonburg; grandchildren, Sharon (James) Witt, Jimmy (Jessica) Fish, Georgia Fish, Bobby (Bill) Anstead, Clyde Fish, and Joann Fish; great-grandchildren, Thomas (Melissa) Witt, Matthew Witt, Jacqueline Witt, Stacy, Emily, Shelby, Eric, and Jerzie; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Nanny is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Dale Barber, who passed while serving in WWII; sisters, Goldie Barber, Geneva Saam, and Betty Clark; and great-grandson, Harrison Cortland Fish.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 12, 2016 from 1-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Herman-Veh Funeral Home &
Cremation Services, Gibsonburg where funeral services will be Monday, June 13 at 10:30 a.m. An additional hour of visitation will be held an hour prior. Officiating will be Rev. Mark Recny. Burial will follow at West Union Cemetery, Gibsonburg.
